MECHANIC NEEDED FULL TIME

We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team.

Checker has been in the yellow taxi business for over 20 years. The mechanic will be responsible for fixing our fleet vehicles as well as private cars that come in for service. Our garage is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Mechanic should possess their own tools.

Days and hours needed are as follows.

Thursday 8AM - 6PM

Friday 8AM - 6PM

Saturday 8AM - 6PM,

Sunday 12PM - 9PM

Monday 12PM - 9PM.

Duties:

-Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.

- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, shocks, tires, bearings, AC repairs ext

-Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications.

-Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients.

- Driving cars to TLC inspection when needed.

Skills:

- Previous experience as a mechanic preferred 1 - 2 years experience

- Excellent communication and Customer service skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to enter data using mechanic software

- Must possess a drivers license
