We are a small upcoming jewelry brand based in Brooklyn passionate about creating beautiful, handcrafted pieces that our customers love. We believe in the power of creativity and craftsmanship and are currently looking to expand our team with a talented and enthusiastic Assembly Assistant.

Our jewelry is best described as feminine-forward body jewelry (body chains, hand chains, face chains, etc.) and takes a lot of inspiration from the Pacific Islands.

Position:

Jewelry Assembly Assistant (Part-time)

Remote to start (Applicant must have their own workspace)

Job Description:

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful things to join our team as a Jewelry Assembly Assistant. This role is perfect for individuals who are not necessarily professional jewelers but are adept at working with their hands, working with delicate chains and gemstones, and have a passion for jewelry. The ideal candidate will have a dedicated workspace where they can assemble jewelry pieces according to our designs and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Assemble various jewelry pieces, including but not limited to, body chains, hand chains, and necklaces following specific design instructions.

- Conduct quality control checks on assembled jewelry to ensure they meet our quality standards.

- Pack and prepare jewelry for shipping back to the main studio for final quality inspection.

- Maintain an inventory of supplies and report on low-stock items to ensure a continuous production process.

- Communicate effectively with the team regarding assembly progress and any challenges encountered.

Requirements:

- No professional jewelry-making experience required, but must have demonstrable skill in crafting or assembling delicate items.

- Must have a dedicated and well-organized workspace suitable for jewelry assembly, including adequate lighting and storage.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions.

- Basic understanding of jewelry materials and tools.

- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

- Good communication skills and reliability.
