Licensed Esthetician + Hair Removal Specialist (waxing/sugaring)

IKAL Spa + Face Salon is looking for a licensed esthetician and hair removal (waxing or sugaring) specialist to join our team in Soho on a part-time basis.

The position will be 4-5 days a week. Weekends are a must. Starting working hours are 11 am to 7 pm, but may be adjusted based on client demand.

Our new team member should have professional experience in wax or sugar hair removal, including intimate areas (brazilian, man-zilian, etc). However, since we are a small spa, we are looking for a team member that is open to learning and providing a wide range of esthetic services including:

body and facial hair removal (sugaring/waxing) – experience required

facials (deep cleansing, hydrainfusion, vitamin C, etc.)

threading (face and brows)

lash lift

brow lamination

lash and brow tinting

lash extensions

Team members are independent contractors compensated at a base rate of $18-23 per hour depending on experience, plus tips and product commission. Team members are responsible for maintaining professional liability insurance to cover the services they provide.
