Position: Part-Time Workout Superintendent

Location: East 68th Street, Manhattan (Between Park & Madison Ave)

Compensation: $700 per month + $75 monthly cell phone allowance

Schedule: Part-time (approximately 8–15 hours per week, flexible)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Property:

We are a small, well-maintained 11-unit prewar apartment building located in a premier Upper East Side neighborhood. The building has long-term tenants, quiet operations, and professional management oversight.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections

Ensure the building and common areas remain clean and orderly

Oversee refuse collection and recycling compliance

Provide access for vendors, contractors, and inspectors

Respond to minor tenant maintenance requests

Monitor boiler operation and heating systems during the winter

Report larger issues to management promptly

Requirements:

Prior experience as a building superintendent, handyman, or porter (residential preferred)

Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills

Must be reliable, organized, and respectful with tenants

Ability to communicate clearly with management via phone, text, or email

Must reside locally (within a reasonable distance to the property)

Ability to respond to after-hours issues on occasion
