OFFICE ADMIN - BOOKKEEPING ASSISTANT WANTED AT REAL ESTATE OFFICE

We are a small Real Estate Management Company in Nolita, Manhattan.

We have been under alot of stress lately, and the office has gotten disorganized.

We are looking for 1-2 experienced Office Admin - Bookkeeping Assistants to help get us caught up and to help organize the office.

We will start out as Part Time while training,

and if it works out and you can also work independently, then it can become Full Time if desired.

TASKS:

- Basic office filing, admin, opening and organizing mail,

- QUICKBOOKS, Basic bookkeeping, depositing checks, paying bills, etc.

- Writing and editing emails and letters, communicating with tenants

- Data Entry, scanning, making copies,

- Help organize the office in general

- Help with simple maintenance tasks

- Run errands

- Assist the Senior Staff Members in general

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 6-12 months experience in an Office Environment needed

- Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, QUICKBOOKS, etc.

- Good Character:

Patient, Reliable, Responsible, Honest, Trustworthy, Attention to Detail, Flexible, Positive, Good Communicator

PLUSES:

- Background in Office Admin / Bookkeeping / Real Estate / Sales / Marketing / Organizational / IT Skills

SCHEDULE:

For the first week, we would like to do Part Time, as you are getting trained on how to accomplish things in the office.

If it works out for everyone, and you can work more independently, then we can give more hours and be more full time.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to come work in the office Mon - Fri, about 4-8 hours in the office.

For example, can be 10am-3pm OR 10am - 6pm.

We are also somewhat flexible so can work with your schedule if needed.

COMPENSATION:

- Depends on Experience

Starts around $20 per hour

No W2, it would be as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
