Medical Equipment Installer

CME Corp’s Direct to Site delivery department is looking to add an Direct to Site Installer to our branch in Garden City, NY. This person will play a key role in improving customer satisfaction and driving repeat business in the Tri-State area by ensuring that our merchandise is handled with care at all touch points. This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Equipment assembly and staging within CME Corp’s warehouse
Direct to Site deliveries to healthcare customers utilizing 26’ box truck
Installation, set-up and placement of medical equipment inside of hospitals and other healthcare facilities
Regular daily travel within the Tri-State area with occasional weekend travel as required
Effectively and professionally communicate with customers and co-workers
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Sound verbal and written skills
Basic computer skills including familiarity with the Microsoft office products
Must have flexible schedule as starting and ending times vary daily
Ability to participate in occasional projects requiring overnight stays away
Must be physically fit and lift up to 75lbs
Must have good mechanical aptitude and be very familiar with general hand and power tools
Carpentry or DME technician experience a plus
Experience driving up to a 26’ straight truck particularly throughout Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and other boroughs
