Our immigration law firm is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual paralegal fluent in Uzbek/ Tajik, and Russian languages to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all aspects of immigration law practice, with a focus on serving clients from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, and other Russian-speaking communities. The role involves client communication, case management, document preparation, and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

Client Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients who speak Uzbek, Tajik, Russian, and English, providing updates on case status, answering inquiries, and scheduling appointments.

Case Management: Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of immigration cases, including gathering necessary documents, completing forms, and ensuring compliance with filing deadlines.

Document Preparation: Draft and prepare various immigration forms, petitions, applications, and correspondence in both English and Uzbek/Tajik/Russian languages for attorney review and submission to government agencies.

Translation and Interpretation: Provide accurate translation and interpretation services for legal documents, client meetings, hearings, and other proceedings as needed.

Qualifications:

Degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field (preferred but not required)

Fluency in Uzbek, Tajik, Russian, and English languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in all languages.

Prior experience working as a paralegal in immigration law or related field preferred.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in legal research, document preparation, and case management software.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse communities and immigration issues.
