Experienced Vehicle Router Needed - Interviewing asap

Our client in Staten Island, NY, is currently seeking to fill the role of a vehicle router. Our client is a well-known plumbing supply company established in the early 90's servicing the Tri-State Area. Must be familiar with New York City streets, bridges etc

As a Vehicle Router, you will manage the scheduling and routing of our company’s vehicles, optimize efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery.

Pay: $30 - $45 per hour

Responsibilities

Create and adjust daily delivery routes for multiple vehicle types

Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials

Assist with data entry, report generation, and office support tasks

Analyze route performance data to identify inefficiencies and develop optimization strategies

Collaborate with different departments such as sales, operations, and customer service

Skills

Experience in routing/logistics (preferably in construction)

Bilingual (Spanish)

ERP system knowledge is preferred

Must be able to route manually and with a system

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

MS Suite, G Suite knowledge

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Excellent Communication, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication

Self-Driven & detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and operate in a high-pressure environment

Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday, 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm

Must be willing to work overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
