Hiring Experienced Handyman for General Home Repairs & Maintenance

Location: Lower Manhattan (Soho, Noho, and the West Village)

Description:

- We are Haus (stayhaus.co), a hospitality company that offers furnished monthly apartment rentals to travelers in New York City.

- We are hiring 1-2 skilled and reliable contractors for general handyman work in the Lower Manhattan area. If you have experience in home repairs, maintenance, and various improvement projects, we would love to hear from you!

- Part-time role with growing opportunities as our business expands (on average 2-5 services/wk)

- Pay is $25/hr

Responsibilities:

- Perform general home repairs and maintenance

- Complete tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and more

- Troubleshoot and solve issues efficiently

- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail

- Communicate effectively with clients and our Operations team

- Track time and coordinate tasks in Breezeway

Requirements:

- 3+ years experience as a handyman or contractor

- Strong knowledge of home repair techniques and tools

- Ability to perform a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision

- 1-2 strong references

- Moderate to strong English proficiency

- Must have a bank account for payments

- Comfortable learning and using Breezeway for task management

- Have a smartphone (Android or iPhone)

- Highly responsive

- Must pass a background check
