Job Overview

Well-known global media company located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Business Partner with a strong focus in Benefits and with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, practices, and initiatives. You will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Duties

Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.

Manage talent acquisition processes, ensuring effective recruitment and onboarding of new employees.

Provide expertise in employment labor law to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Facilitate employee orientation programs to promote engagement and retention.

Address employee relations issues through conflict management and resolution strategies.

Support performance management processes, including talent management initiatives and employee development plans.

Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday for data management and reporting.

Experience

Proven experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as an HR Business Partner or similar position.

Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and best practices in HR management.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday is highly desirable.

Demonstrated skills in talent acquisition, conflict management, and employee orientation programs.

Experience in process improvement initiatives within an HR context is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
