TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9TH

MEET THE EMPLOYER: 1 PM-2 PM

CORONA LIBRARY: 38-23 104th St, Corona, NY 11368

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL: $20/hr

Requirements:

Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.

Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!

Ability to use a computer for data entry.

High school education/GED, highly preferred.

RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION COUNSELOR:$20/hr

Requirements:

Experience with the I/DD population is Preferred but not required. AHRC NYC provides additional trainings for those starting or changing career paths.

Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills; patience; sensitivity and commitment to working with the I/DD population.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Willingness to support people’s preference for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights, etc. in various settings.
