Dental Insurance Coordinator/ Receptionist/ Manager
New York, New york city 00000 New york city USAWe are a growing fee-for-service and insurance based family practice in Jackson Heights, Queens. We are looking for a full-time (4-5 days per week) front desk coordinator with potential to be office manager. This role will take comprehensive front desk responsibilities including scheduling, checking in/out patients, treatment coordinating, accounts receivable and leadership. We're looking for someone interested in long-term employment. We are looking for someone that is highly self-motivated and passionate about being excellent at their job with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of dental front desk coordinator experience, including dental insurance verification experience and treatment planning
- Very familiar with dental insurance plans
- Care about delivering the best patient experience
- Hands on experience of patient management software
- Excellent verbal communication
- Being bilingual is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Dental insurance verifications for upcoming appointments
- Prepare and present dentist-diagnosed treatment plans and financial estimates to patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Reschedule patients who miss appointments
- Contact patients to complete treatment
- Manage dentist and hygiene schedules
- Assist patients with financial arrangements. Ability to overcome objections
- Execute all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork
- Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal and HIPAA laws and guidelines
