Physical Therapy Aide

- WED (Required)

- Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri, Sat (optional)

Office hours

- Mon, Fri (9am 5pm)

- Sat (9am 3pm)

Location : Woodside, Queens, NY (1 min from Woodside station)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment

- Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities, under direction of Physical Therapist

- Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment

- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support

- Perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages and filling out forms

- Maintain equipment and furniture to keep it in good working condition, including performing the assembly and disassembly of equipment and accessories

- Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order

- Assist patients to dress, undress, and put on and remove supportive devices, such as braces, splints, and slings

- Status : Legally able to work (W2 payment ; No CASH X)

- Must be bilingual Spanish / English

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred (Not required, Just preferred)

- Experience as medical receptionist (more than 1 year)

- Associate of Science (AS) degree

Pay : $20 per hour (start)
