Medical Assistant/Ophthalmic Assistant

Part time Medical /Ophthalmic Assitant needed for Ophthalmolgy practice in the northern Bronx.

Days needed : Tuesdays and Thursdays all day, alternating Fridays and Saturdays half day with potential for more hours.

Duties include patient work up and patient testing as well as scribing. Assistance in the management of patient flow. Front desk tasks including scheduling of patients, patient check in and check out, patient eligibility and other tasks as assigned.

Prior medical assisitant/Ophthalmic assistant experience a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
