Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Full Time : 100k-150k

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our
dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting formal evaluations of new
patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing education on available
treatment options.
You will also have the opportunity to develop clinical programs and protocols, incorporating various therapeutic models.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of new patients to assess mental health
status, medical history, and treatment needs.
● Collaborate with the lead psychiatrist and medical director to develop personalized
treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
● Prescribe and manage appropriate therapies in accordance with established protocols
and best practices.
● Provide patient education on mental health conditions, treatment options and self-care
strategies.
● Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, in
collaboration with the treatment team.
● Collaborate with other members of the team, including the clinical operations team as
well as external providers of patients to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
● Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
● Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
● Valid and unrestricted license in the State of New York.
● Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based
treatment modalities.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with
patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
● Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on
promoting mental health and wellness.
● Past experience in leadership at a mental health organization is a plus.
Additional Information:
● This is a full-time position that includes benefits.
● Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
● The expected schedule is Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
