Family / Primary Care Physician Assistant - PA - ADULTS AND CHILDREN

We are seeking a FULL TIME / PART TIME Physician Assistant - ADULTS AND CHILDREN to join our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team in three medical offices in Queens County and Brooklyn. We provide Primary Care to Adults and Children. Ability to do office Gyn Exam, routine Pap Smear will be an advantage. No office rounds or on out of hours calls required only outpatients. We will be willing to work with the ideal candidate regarding flexibility of hours; 50 hours / 6 Days work week including 4 hours weekend work. SATURDAY WORK REQUIRED IN OUR BROOKLYN (9AM-1PM). 180K to 210K depending on work experience.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses

Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

Assess patient health through interviews

Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients

Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients

Develop and implement patient management plans, policies and procedures

Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures

Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a physician assistant or other medical fields

Familiarity with medical tools and equipment (ECW)

Ability to build rapport with patients

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong leadership qualities
