TheKey provides premier in-home senior care to help older adults thrive at home with optimal independence, health, safety and happiness, all while affording their loved ones complete peace of mind.
Who We Are:
We are searching for an experienced LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to provide care for one of our valued clients. She is a woman in her early 80s who is a retired medical doctor with a love for music, artwork, and listening podcasts. She also enjoys reading her favorite magazines in her spare time!
She is unfortunately suffering from Aphasia, is non-ambulatory, and has HHA accompaniment at all times. However we are searching for an LPN to augment her care and work together with HHAs during the shifts. Please note Hoyer Lift experience is a requirement for this case. The LPN will also be expected to accompany the client on doctor's appointments via an ambulette. There are no animals in the home, and she is a 2-person transfer assist.
Shifts are currently available 7 days per week from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Providing nursing care assigned by and under the direction of a registered nurse who provides onsite supervision as needed, based upon the client’s plan of care and assessed needs
Work together with currently assigned HHAs to provide care
Operate hoyer lift / 2-person transfer assist
Catheter care
Accompany the client on medical appointments via ambulette
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
Active New York state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Hoyer Lift experience required
Must be reliable, dependable and on time
Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
Basic computer skills as well as overall technical savviness
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
