Freelance Cookie Baker (Production)

Responsibilities

Prepare cookie dough according to provided recipes

Bake cookies in consistent, high-quality batches

Follow food safety and cleanliness standards

Package cookies as needed for retail or orders

Communicate clearly about production timelines and availability

Requirements

Experience baking cookies or similar baked goods at volume

NYC Food Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent with quality

Access to a commercial kitchen or willingness to work in our kitchen (details to be discussed)

Schedule & Volume

Freelance / contract basis

Regular weekly or bi-weekly production (exact volume to be discussed)

Flexible schedule, but consistency is essential

Compensation

Competitive pay, based on experience and volume

Paid per batch or hourly (open to discussion)
