We are a new opening driven by simplicity, technique, and ingredient clarity. Our bar program is cocktail-forward and service-driven, designed to integrate seamlessly with the dining room and kitchen. This role is ideal for a bartender who values precision, balance, and hospitality, and who wants to operate as a full service professional within a refined restaurant environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and care Execute house cocktails and classic preparations according to established specifications Participate in batching, pre-batching, and kegged cocktail systems as part of daily bar operations Maintain cleanliness, organization, and mise en place at the bar before, during, and after service Engage guests with warmth and professionalism while maintaining efficient service flow Coordinate closely with servers and support staff to ensure timely and accurate beverage service Manage bar prep, restocking, and inventory awareness Uphold responsible alcohol service and all safety standards Bar Program & Environment Cocktail-forward program with an emphasis on balance, technique, and repeatability Use of batching and kegged cocktails to support consistency and service flow Strong collaboration between bar and dining room teams Bartenders operate as service professionals on par with servers in responsibility and expectation Schedule Five days per week, dinner service focused Two consecutive days off per week Two planned one-week closures annually: first week of January and first week of September Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a quality-driven or high-volume environment preferred Strong understanding of classic cocktails, spirits, and service mechanics Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure Service-minded with strong communication skills Interest in learning and contributing to a refined, systems-driven bar program Compensation Hourly + gratuities Typical nightly earnings range from approximately $100–$300 per shift Higher earnings expected as volume stabilizes Earnings vary significantly based on volume, bar placement, schedule, and individual performance Actual compensation is not guaranteed Base hourly rate compliant with New Jersey labor and tipped-wage laws Earnings examples are illustrative only and reflect anticipated operating conditions Additional At-will employment Equal opportunity employer
