Soup Counter NYC Team Member

Soupside is a seasonal soup shop opening in SoHo, taking over Softside, a busy soft serve spot known for its fast pace and classic New York energy. For soup season, the space transforms into Soupside, bringing warmth, comfort, and the same neighborhood feel.

We are looking to hire team members to join us for the winter season. In this role, you will help create a great guest experience, maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, and represent the Soupside brand on the floor.

You must be based in New York City to be considered for this position.

About the role:

-Greet guests warmly and efficiently

-Serve soups with care and consistency

-Answer questions and make recommendations when needed

-Operate POS and handle transactions accurately

-Maintain cleanliness and organization in both work and guest-facing areas

-Restock products and supplies throughout service

-Support opening, closing, and daily prep tasks

-Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume counter service environment

Qualifications:

-Previous food service or counter service experience

-Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

-Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

-Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

-Attention to cleanliness and food safety

-Familiarity with Softside, Upside Pizza, or New York food culture is a plus
