Runner and Bakery Associate

Now Hiring: Food Runner / Restocker / Busser — Mia’s Bakery (Brooklyn)

Mia’s Bakery is looking for a dependable and fast-moving team member to support daily operations.

You’ll be responsible for running whole cake orders from the kitchen to front-of-house staff or directly to customers, restocking supplies and showcase products, and bussing tables in a busy bakery setting. If you're the type who hates standing still and takes pride in a clean, organized environment — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Run whole cake orders from the kitchen to counter staff or waiting customers

Restock utensils, to-go packaging, napkins, cups, and other supplies throughout the day

Bus and clean tables promptly and thoroughly

Assist with trash removal, floor cleanliness, and general upkeep of guest areas

Support kitchen and FOH team as needed — flexibility is key

Requirements:

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly

Fast, efficient, and able to follow instructions without micromanagement

Strong situational awareness and urgency during busy shifts

Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory

Basic English required; Spanish a plus

Prior food runner or restocking experience preferred but not required

Compensation:

Hourly wage based on experience

Paid training and opportunities for advancement
