Experienced Barista/ Cashier at Diner/Bagel Store

Atlantic Bagels is looking for a skilled and passionate Barista/Cashier to join our team in Brooklyn Heights.

Job description:

Saturday and Sunday all day shifts available, 7:00am to 5:00pm. 20 hours every weekend with good base, regular breaks, plus tips!

Take orders using Toast POS with efficiency while maintaining friendliness. Make change and manage cash drawer from opening through closing.

Prepare coffee and tea beverages, and serve/package pastries with care.

Be a great team worker by communicating well, keeping a clean work station, and creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Starting with part-time, could grow to full-time quickly depending on additional skills.

Requirements:

Experience with Toast POS

Experience in coffee shops, delis, and/or bagel stores.

People-person with excellent communication skills and customer-focused positive attitude.

Able to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining a cool head and a sense of humor.

Honesty and reliability.

Starting pay is $17/hr, plus tips and meals.
