We are hiring Retail Attendants for part-time (14 hrs - 28 hrs / week) positions on our Retail team.We have 2 retail locationsthis role can work at both / either our brick and mortarHQ in Prospect Heights and our Cart locationin Prospect Park. The posted range of $25 - $32 per hour reflects a base wage of $13 - $16per hour (dependent upon experience) inclusive of pooled tips and a delivery wage pool.Our Retail Attendants serve as the face of the company at our retail locations, where we can provide an engaging, memorable and smooth experience featuring a KDT menu you can't get elsewhere.Our critically-acclaimed breakfast tacos are served grab'n'go style, anddrinkservice is limited to the coffee (drip), seasonal drinks, beer/wine (bottled), bottled drinks, and light assembly and heating of prepared items (at HQ only; e.g. portioning queso & chips or toasting items).Think of this like a barista role, without an espresso machine, and focused on tacos. :)Weare looking for people with anywhere from 2-4 shifts per week of availability, approximate shift times (varies slightly by location):Mon- Fri6:30a-1:30p10:30a-3:30pSat / Sun6:30a-1:30p10:00a-3:00p9:00a-4:30pThis is a greatrole for people looking for more flexibility in their schedule, or who love working in food but want to leave their evenings free.OurRetailAttendants make $25-$32/hr on average, including tips, depending on location. The Cart location averages higher and has a higher base wage.This average wage is calculated based on your base hourly wage + pooled tips + a delivery wage pool on third-party app orders. There are minimum guaranteesin place iffor any reason, tips do not reach certain thresholds.Qualifications NYC Food Protection Certificate preferredand receives a higher rate (required for Cart) Mobile Food Vendors License is requiredat Cartlocation (we will help you get this, and pay for it) Experience in front-of-house foodservice or retail a major plus Customer service-minded Team player with a can-do attitude - a good sense of humor is alwaysappreciated! We are a vertically-integrated, omnichannel business, currently distributing our breakfast tacos across Retail (brick & mortar and mobile), Wholesale (daily distribution to coffee shops / cafes), and Catering.
