We are looking for a passionate team member to join our team at Olivio bakery & coffee. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional coffee and service to our cherished customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in coffee preparation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea

Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service

Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries

Ensure that all drink orders are made to customer specifications

Upsell additional products or menu items to customers

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required

Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers

Food prep team member:

Food prep duties are all about ensuring everything is fresh and ready for service. Daily tasks include chopping vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and peppers for our sandwiches and other side dishes, and portioning ingredients to maintain efficiency during busy hours.

We also focus on managing inventory-checking deliveries, rotating stock, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Keeping the prep area clean and organized, as well as maintaining kitchen equipment, is a key part of the process to ensure everything runs smoothly.
