Job Description: As the Head Bartender, you will be the face of new project of DDOBAR, Bar Whimsical, and a key player in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will oversee all aspects of bar operations, including cocktail creation, inventory management, and staff training. Your passion for mixology, leadership skills, and dedication to excellence will ensure that our bar remains a top destination in NYC. Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of bartenders to deliver exceptional service and maintain a high standard of professionalism. Mixology: Create innovative and seasonal cocktail menus that align with our brand and appeal to our diverse clientele. Training: Conduct regular training sessions for bar staff on cocktail preparation, customer service, and safety protocols. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience and handle any inquiries or concerns. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of alcohol. Event Coordination: Collaborate with the events team to develop and execute special event menus and promotions. Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the bar operations. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role. Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations. Proven track record of creating innovative and popular cocktails. Knowledge of inventory management and cost control. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) preferred.
