Position Overview:

As a Busser & Delivery Food Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely packaging of food orders for delivery, pick up and to go. In addition, as a busser, you will be required to step on to the floor and assist in re-setting tables from time to time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to learn restaurants from the ground up, and enjoys a fast-paced environment while being a part of a team dedicated to providing quality culinary experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Carefully and accurately pack food orders according to established guidelines.

- Ensure all items are included in each order, and verify order accuracy.

- Label packages with the necessary information for delivery.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient order preparation.

- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean work area.

- Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.

- Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed.

- Dispose of waste and keep work areas tidy.

- Collaborate with the team to provide excellent customer service.

- Adhere to health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in reading and writing English - following specific instructions on each order ticket.

- Previous experience as a busboy or in a similar role is a plus but not required.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- NYC Food Protection Certificate is required (to be completed within 3 months of employment)
