All Front Of House Positions For New Restaurant Concept

Lazy Sister is opening as a modern Pan-Chinese rest in the warm and energetic community of South Norwalk. We will be located on the bustling and historic Washington Street near tons of neighboring restaurants and vibrant nightlife based venues. We are looking to hire for all front of house positions within our team- including Bartenders, Servers, Runners, Bussers and Expo to build the concept.

Named after owner Max Weiss’s love for Chinese food and endearing relationship with his sisters. Lazy sister will be a breath of fresh air for the dining scene in the South Norwalk Community and pay homage to the beautiful flavors and preparation of Chinese food pulling from multiple parts of China including, Szechuan, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Lazy Sister will also offer the familiar American Chinese dishes that we all know and love. Lazy Sister will be an upscale casual modern Chinese restaurant that will be refined, fresh and approachable for all diners. The environment will be incredibly welcoming and we will promise to deliver a best in class dining atmosphere that the amazing people of Connecticut and beyond will travel near and far for. Whether it’s a family tradition take out night, a casual bite to eat for lunch, or an elegant and energy filled dinner out on the town. Lazy sister will deliver a dining experience for everyone!

We are seeking a hospitality enthusiast that has their own curiosity for Chinese cuisine, true passion and willingness to take care of others, and someone who exudes positivity, and warmth around other people. The environment and way we go about our service is casual yet incredibly friendly and always professional. We are looking for people with several years of experience or who have the drive to learn about our culture, our hospitality and service standards, and would love the opportunity to grow with Lazy Sister.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Applicants must be legal to work in the US

-At least 1 year of FOH experience is preferred

-Serving experience in NYC or Fairfield county preferred

-Flexible schedule, available to work lunch and dinner shifts, weekends and holidays

-Ability to work positively in a team environment

-Strong hospitality and people skills

-Ability to work under high pressure

-Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

-Preparing and serving beverages in accordance with standard recipes

COMPENSATION:

-Hourly ($6.38 Per hour) Plus tips - Servers, Bussers, Runners, Expo

-Hourly ($8.39 Per Hour) Plus tips- Bartenders

-Hourly ($15.69 per hour) for any non tipped work, or If the tips plus the minimum tip wage do not reach this threshold.

-Paychecks to be distributed weekly
