Experienced Bartender Wanted

Bar Louise is the newest venture from Allison Arevalo, founder of Pasta Louise restaurant and cafe in Park Slope. An extension of the lauded bar program she’s spent the past few years establishing at her family-friendly homemade pasta joint, Bar Louise focuses more deeply on serving the adults of the neighborhood — bringing expertly crafted cocktails, wine, and a tightly curated menu to 7th Avenue and we are hiring bartenders!

NOW YOU GO! CAN YOU

Prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for main bar and service

Greet and interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks

Develop expert knowledge of both food and beverage menu

Pick up a small section near bar to serve as needed

Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

Mix ingredients to expertly and efficiently prepare cocktails

Assist in promoting specials (food AND beverage)

Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

Comply with all food and beverage regulations

AND DO YOU HAVE

Resume and proven working experience as a bartender

Three solid, supervisory professional references

Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

POS experience (Square, Toast, Etc)

EXTREMELY POSITIVE and FRIENDLY attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
