Altar Hiring Experienced Bartender

Altar is a neighborhood cocktail bar in the heart of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, focused on serving innovative craft cocktails in a comfortable, evocative setting. We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our small team who is able to work 3-4 shifts a week. Shifts available are Sunday - Wednesday.

Description of what we are looking for:

At least 2 years experience in a similar cocktail bar setting

Thorough knowledge of classic cocktails

Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits

Speed and ability to handle high volume

Commitment to hospitality and great service

Experience serving food

Keeps a clean work space

Personable and energetic

Proactive – a problem solver

Reliable, punctual

Detail oriented
