Gyro man/Line Cook Needed - Gal-Gal Shawarma

Join the sizzling excitement of our shawarma and falafel sensation in the heart of NYC! We are on the lookout for a skilled Line Cook to elevate our team.

Food Handlers Card is a Plus

Position: Line Cook / Cashier

Location: Garment District, New York City

Schedule: Full time- Looking for full availability

Pay: $16 + Tips

Responsibilities:

-Interaction with guests

-Service- setup and execute service

-Team Work- work with members of service team

-Customer service & Hospitality Oriented

Qualifications:

-Experience: At least 1 year of related experience

-Culinary Knowledge- basic knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes

-Communication- must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively to all customers and team members

-Reading/Writing- ability to speak, read and write in English

-Experience with using POS systems and taking guest payments

-Kitchen Equipment- ability to operate kitchen equipment, stoves, grills, fryer, etc.

-Physical Demands- ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting, ability to lift 50lbs+, ability to work in a high temperature environment
