Brand Ambassador Lead for Food Delivery Company ($30/Hour)

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Farm To People is a fast-growing online grocery delivery service specializing in

sustainably-sourced, seasonal produce and artisanal foods. Our customers can

subscribe to a curated Farm Box or can choose to shop à la carte. We deliver 5 days

per week and are rapidly expanding in the NYC market. We have a vast and

ever-changing array of fresh produce, meats, dairy, bakery, and pantry items.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Brand Ambassador Lead to oversee our team of Brand Ambassadors in New York City. The primary focus of this role is to lead initiatives in various NYC parks, engaging the public and collecting emails to expand our community outreach and customer base. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in social settings and is passionate about community engagement and sustainable food systems.

Responsibilities:

+ Hire and train brand ambassador volunteers.

+ Supervise and coordinate the team of Brand Ambassadors in parks across NYC.

+ Plan and execute strategies to meet email collection targets and increase brand awareness.

+ Coordinate food samples (ordering & delivery) for brand ambassadors to hand out when doing outreach.

+ Monitor performance of team members and provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance effectiveness.

+ Collaborate with the marketing department to refine messaging and promotional materials.

+ Report on campaign performance, including outreach and engagement metrics, challenges faced, and areas for improvement.

+ Calculate volunteer ambassador payroll.

+ Maintain a positive, energetic presence that embodies the brand values, especially during interactions with the public and team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Must have a valid drivers license.

+ Availability to work weekends (see hours below)

+ Strong leadership skills, with experience in training and motivating teams.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.

+ Passion for sustainability, local food movements, and community building.

COMPENSATION

$30 / H base (with bonus incentives)

HOURS & DURATION

Thursday to Sunday: 9AM - 7PM

This position is a temporary position, set to terminate on 9/15/2024
