Who We Are:
{Khe-Yo} in TriBeCa is an established, upscale/casual 160 -seat restaurant.
We serve Laos cuisine for lunch and dinner 7 days a week with typical hours between 11:30am–3pm for lunch, and dinner service from 5:00pm–10:30pm.

Who We Are Looking For:
{Khe-Yo} is a busy Laotian/Asian inspired restaurant whose loyal patronage have come to expect a superior quality service. Our tight-knit staff is a reflection of this commitment and each member of our family works harmoniously to provide our clientele with a noteworthy, dining experience. Pre-shift meetings are held daily with our Chef/Owner and management; servers and runner are expected to be knowledgeable, conversant and attentive in guiding guests through our Laotian cuisine. As one of our HOSTESS or SERVER you would be an indispensable representative of both {Khe-Yo} and each patron’s dining experience.
We are seeking talented and passionate hospitality professionals to be a part of our team.
Candidates should take an "ownership" approach to their work.
We are looking for potential team members who have an excellent work ethic and the desire to be a part of a great service team while still having fun!
We want to work with individuals who are passionate about hospitality and who are dedicated to providing
consistent, exemplary-level service.
Requirements:
HOSTESS/MAî·TRE D'
Must have excellent customer service and knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Seats guests and manage the seating chart. Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Finding the appropriate table for each guest according to their preferences and group size
Remembering table rotation and ensuring all servers receive the right number of guests
Engaging with guests to ensure the quality of food and customer service
Responding to client complaints and helping to resolve those complaints
Answering phone calls and taking guest reservations
Memorizing the menu and dietary options
Helping out other staff members as needed during your shift
Providing great customer service at all times
WAITRESS:
Greeting and Seating Customers:
Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival. Manage
reservations and waitlists, and escort customers to their tables.
Menu Knowledge: Be well-acquainted with the menu, including various dishes, ingredients, and
preparation methods.
Assist customers by answering questions and providing
recommendations.
Taking Orders: Accurately record customer orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.
Be aware of any food allergies or dietary restrictions that customers may have.
Serving Food and Beverages: Ensure that dishes are served in a timely and presentable manner.
Serve food and beverages according to the restaurant’s standards.
Customer Service: Consistently check on diners to ensure they are satisfied with their meals.
Address any complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Payment Handling: Present bills to customers, accept payments, and provide change
accurately.
Manage credit card and cash transactions efficiently.Cleanliness and Hygiene:
Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, including tables, counters,
and serving areas. Ensure dining areas are clean and tidy for incoming guests.
Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with health and safety regulations.
Adhere to the restaurant’s policies and protocols.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
A flexible schedule and can work weekdays and weekends | this is a full-time position (Sunday's are a must)
Is team-oriented, punctual, and has a positive attitude — we are a pooled house.
Posseses strong hospitality skills; friendly, and an engaging personality.
Is professional, conversant, and attentive; first and foremost you are concerned for each guest’s unique dining experience.
Has 2 years of NYC runner experience and or comparable.
{Khe-Yo} in TriBeCa an EOE.
