Busy All Day Cafe Hiring a Barista ($30-35/h)

Busy, Bed-Stuy Cafe seeking experienced barista. Golda is a Mediterranean/Middle-eastern cafe with a health-forward twist; we are a small team that values commitment and hustle. This is a role that includes both coffee-making and serving food. Rate is ≈ $30/hour with tips.

FOOD HANDLER CARD IS A MUST.

Requirements:

ability to use espresso machine correctly (ie different pours, drinks, latte art)

experience serving a huge plus but not necessary, willing to train the right person

food handlers certification

POS experience (ringing in orders, opening/closing drawer)

positive attitude, towards guests and staff

punctuality

flexibility with schedule (being able to help cover a peers shift in an emergency)

multi-tasking - this role involves making drinks, taking orders, using delivery apps, and serving food

Compensation is extremely competitive and is based on availability and experience.
