Bartender (Open and Swing)

Open and Swing Bartender needed for Tavern in East Williamsburg.

About us:

We have been serving the Williamsburg/Bushwick neighborhood for over 10 years. We serve food and seasonal cocktails open to close daily and offer brunch on weekends. We are a small team that is fully pooled daily for all of FOH.

Position is 2-4 days weekly and coverage as needed. Must be able to work without supervision. This is considered a full time position.

DUTIES:

- Bartending open from 2pm-10:30pm

- Bartending open jaw swing shifts from evening until 2

- Serve 8-10 tables if no server is scheduled

- Maintain standards and policies for bar program

- Place furniture on sidewalk and setup bar

- Juice and cut citrus

- Prep all batches and syrups

- Open setup including outdoor furniture

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have NYC food handlers card and eTips (or be willing to obtain before first shift)

- Must have at least 2 years bartending experience

- Must be on payroll

- Familiarity with the neighborhood a plus
