Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the POS system

- Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines

- Prepare and present food items, such as pastries and sandwiches

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers

- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer

Skills:

- Food service experience, preferably in a coffee shop or cafe setting

- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation

- Ability to handle food preparation tasks, such as assembling sandwiches or heating pastries

- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations

- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment transactions

- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote special offerings

- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices

- Willingness to help out with various tasks as needed
