Compensation: We guarantee $20 per hour, which means we pay $15 per hour. If your tips do not reach $20, we cover the difference. With that said, they've never fallen short.

Textbook Coffee is looking to hire baristas for our Fort Greene location.

As a barista at Textbook Coffee, you'll be at the heart of our commitment to providing top-notch coffee, food, and beverages to our valued customers. We're looking for outgoing, customer-oriented individuals who never compromise on quality and always aim to exceed customer expectations.

In this role, following established processes diligently is paramount. We don't cut corners, and we expect the same from our team members. Multitasking, organization, and effective time management are key skills for success here. A minimum of one year of barista experience and a food handler's license are preferred qualifications.

As part of our team, you'll wear many hats, including making cold-pressed juices, following slushy recipes, and, of course, keeping everything squeaky clean. We're a close-knit group that values teamwork and believes in having a good time while we work.

This position involves a four-day workweek, with availability required for evening and weekend shifts. We're on the lookout for someone who is hands-on, adaptable, highly responsible, and maintains a professional demeanor.
