Smoke Jazz Club is looking for new members of our team! After 23 years in our original location on the Upper West Side, we have renovated to open in 2022 bigger and better than ever. Do you love live music and great food? Do you have the hospitality instinct in your blood? Smoke Jazz Club would love to meet you! We are currently seeking the following Front of House positions:Lounge Server with Bartender Experience (HYBRID) A minimum 2 years of experience in a high volume environment. Strong knowledge in food, wine, and spirits. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and stay calm and focused. Good communication skills- we work as a team here, and we are nice. Please be nice, too. A friendly and outgoing demeanor that makes guests feel welcome. Basic Computer Skills (MobileBytes knowledge a plus). Ability to lift 35 pounds. A flexible schedule within reason. We appreciate work-life balance, but we also have longer shifts on the weekends and are open for holidays. A professional attitude and a polished appearance. In addition, all employees must be the legal age to serve liquor, and all employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 (2 shots) and provide proof of vaccination per NYC regulations.
