A AWM (Asset Wealth Management) Google AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Sia is an embedded "builder-doer" who acts as a bridge between Google’s frontier AI products (Gemini, Vertex AI etc.) and real-world AI production systems in AWM. They work directly with large AWM customers to build, deploy, and ship custom Generative AI / Agentic AI applications, building prototypes and production-ready agents while troubleshooting technical integration challenges.Core ResponsibilitiesCustomer Embedding: Act as a technical partner on-site or directly with clients to drive AI adoption.PoC / Pilot: Rapidly prototype to go from ideation to PoC / pilotsProductionizing AI: Develop, debug, and deploy Generative AI applications (e.g., agentic workflows, RAG systems, MCP servers etc.) using Python.Integration and Coding: Architect solutions that connect Google's AI products with customer legacy infrastructure, APIs, and databases.High-Impact Troubleshooting: Solve complex blockers to production, including data readiness, model latency, and system evaluation.
