Sleep Apnea Device Study

Study Overview:

Location: Eatontown, NJ, and New York City

Age Range: 18 years of age or older

Sex: Male, Female

Stipend: Up to $1200 plus travel reimbursement

Study Summary:

Participation in this study varies based on the group you are assigned to.

All participants must attend a screening visit to see if you are eligible and to train you on the devices used in this study. This will take approximately 1-2 hours, and you will be asked to provide information about your medical history, sleep schedule, have your vitals taken, take a pregnancy test (females only), have your skin assessed for pigmentation, have your arms assessed for hairiness, have a physical exam, and take a drug test.

Some subjects will go home with their devices and use them to collect data for 5-10 days at home.

Other participants will conduct their visits at our research centers, including up to 3 overnight stays.

All participants will return to our research centers for a final outpatient visit to collect the devices and complete a final safety check.

Study Schedule:

Total length of participation is approximately 2-3 weeks.
