Senior Program Manager, Activation, Amazon Flex

Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages.We are seeking a Senior Program Manager, Activation, to own the new delivery partner activation program for worldwide (WW) Amazon Flex. In this role, you will be responsible for providing new delivery partners the tools and information they need to deliver with confidence. You will work cross-functionally and across all countries that Amazon Flex operates in, with stakeholders at all levels, to answer questions such as: how do we improve the experience of hundreds of thousands delivery partners through product and program interventions? What innovative products and strategies will help solve their pain points?This is a highly visible and high impact position, serving as the central program lead for delivery partner activation, owning worldwide activation goals, metrics, SOPs and other mechanisms. You will improve delivery partner activation via large-scale programs and initiatives. You will be responsible for acting quickly to solve immediate challenges, while also using high judgement to plan program roadmaps that will deliver long term benefits. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical, detail-oriented, possess solid interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to drive change through their team. They must have a demonstrated track record for building and directing cross functional projects with internal stakeholders, strategic thinking, and success in all phases of business and team development.Key job responsibilities Develop and own cross-functional worldwide activation 12-month roadmap, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to distil gaps and opportunities. Measure and track delivery partner activation performance, deep dive on specific KPIs, and author monthly and quarterly business reviews to surface with cross-organizational leadership. Evolve attribution frameworks to inform investments (budgets, product/tech, resourcing). Partner internally with and influence product, data science, finance and business development teams to prioritize tactics that improve activation and new delivery partner conversion. Lead cross-functional, go-to-market strategy for new products and features in tight collaboration with product, regional teams, legal and other stakeholders. Partner with regional teams to scale best practices WW. Advocate for and collaborate on amplifying the delivery partner experience.A day in the life You will deliver projects and programs on-time, within-budget in order to meet and achieve goals, in an extremely organized manner. You will own marketing program strategy and end-to-end delivery, using data and metrics to drive improvements. You will deliver cross functional projects and work with program management, product management, and technology teams. You will think strategically and creatively whilst executing operationally. You will have high attention to detail. You will write succinct and compelling written monthly business reviews and quarterly business reviews for senior leadership audiences. 5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
