Data & Reporting Transformation Manager - VP
New York, New york city 00000 New york city USAThe Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team is a critical component of Citi’s First Line of Defense for wholesale lending and counterparty credit risk. It partners with businesses Citi-wide to ensure we have best-in-class risk and control capabilities. ICM also plays an important role in Citi’s Transformation efforts by helping to drive a Citi-wide focus on wholesale credit risk management. Through ongoing investment in processes, controls, systems, and governance, ICM continues to further embed consistency and best practices across Citi, driving closer alignment between our business and regulatory goals. The Lending Transformation Program (LTP) is a key initiative within ICM. The goal is to transform the end-to-end wholesale lending process which will consolidate all remediation efforts for loan product processing and establish a consistent target operating model with a focus on improved processes, controls, and enhanced technology to achieve best-in-class processing capabilities to support our client franchise.ICM is looking for a highly energized, dynamic Data & Reporting Transformation Manager. This individual should have:
deep data analytical skills and be able to grasp and manage large and complex datasets quickly and willing to pro-actively deep dive into data warehouse and systems independently to gain understanding
experience in production and design of operations and regulatory reporting, KPIs, metrics and data management including associated controls and best practice
sound change delivery and execution expertise
experience in wholesale lending, including the product and its supporting operating model will be a significant advantage (e.g., transaction management, operations, reporting, controls, data and technology requirements etc.)

Deliver and execute day-to-day LTP Reporting workstream(s) transformation activities; specific focus on business and data analysis relating to reporting applications, metrics/CDEs, inventories, controls
Collaborate with colleagues across Citi and external subject matter experts to design and produce key operational and regulatory Reporting, Metrics and management information solutions, including robust requirements capture documentation
Ensure quality, sustainable Metrics & Reporting design and production processes (consistency, accuracy, completeness, timeliness) including identification and documentation of any gaps/ risks
Validate detailed requirements, identify root cause reporting deficiencies, and recommend solutions to strengthen the global platform and supporting control framework
Support robust program governance (e.g., plan, status reporting, RAIDs) inc preparation of associated governance forum and senior management materials
Ensure prompt identification and escalation of risks and issues impacting workstream delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed that address key risks and issues
Maintain robust change delivery/ business requirements documentation and evidence to meet IA and regulatory scrutiny
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications and Competencies:
7+ years’ experience in project management and reporting related functions (i.e. metrics, CDEs, reports)
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Excellent business/ data analysis expertise, problem solving skills and curiosity to develop deep process and systems knowledge
Possesses a strong knowledge of reporting, data and metrics op model, control design and best practice
Proven ability to interpret business stakeholder needs and translate into considered business/ functional requirements
Wholesale lending experience a significant advantage, preference for background in Transaction Management, Operations, Risk or Finance function
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence and drive decision-making across a large global group of stakeholders
Ambitious and eager for ownership, demonstrates sense of urgency and positive and optimistic approach to change delivery
Operates independently under tight deadlines and prioritizes competing demands in a dynamic environment
Proactive, 'no surprises', approach in communicating issues/ requests
Advanced quantitative skills with a high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft based programs. Tableau/ visualization tool, SQL experience desirable.
Preferred candidate will have understanding of trade booking & transaction lifecycle. Ideally, worked in middle office as data and metrics SME in the past.
Additional experience and knowledge for Internal Candidate
Experience in using Lynx UI, Optima Cognos Reporting Tool, CitiRisk (Facility Management, Collateral) and extracting data from Data Globe (especially data schemas: DGSTREAM, DGFU, DGREF & DGLOBE)
Good understanding on Loan data hierarchy (Request/Credit Agreement/Facility/GFRN) in Lynx.
