Technical Trainer , NAMER Training Delivery

Here's your chance to work as a Technical Trainer with high visibility and significant customer impact.If you have previous programming experience via application/web development, and can communicate highly technical concepts to audiences at different stages in the AWS journey, we’d like to speak with you.The successful candidate is an experienced technical trainer, ideally with experience in cloud or distributed architectures, virtualization technologies and/or Generative AI.In this role, you will deliver training content to developers, administrators, architects, and partners to drive adoption and usage of AWS infrastructure services. Help shape the ongoing strategy and mission of the AWS training program.

Assist in developing & maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, recordings, and accompanying materials.

Deliver instructor-led classroom training to end-user customers and partners on a regular schedule in US and abroad.

Work with key vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content.

Assist in the development of a formalized Train-the-Trainer program for our Authorized Training Center partners and Contractors.

Mentor and train internal and external authorized trainers as part of a train the trainer program

Ability to travel regionally, 50% of the time.

5+ years of experience in a combination of the following areas: Architecture, IT system design, operations, programming, AI/ML, or advanced technical training (not application level training)

Associate level certification or 2+ years of experience with one of the major cloud providers

Experience leading presentations, public speaking, or classroom training for related technology and products or services.

Technical Degree (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems) or relevant work experience

Demonstrate a general understanding of various IT concepts (e.g. Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, Security)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services

Experience designing and developing instructor-led content with technical subject matter content.

Recent coding experience in one or more of the following languages, Java, .Net, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Python.

Experience with Windows and Linux at the command line.

Strong oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.

Demonstrated understanding of Cloud computing concepts

Experience in or working with Public Sector customers

The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
