The team is responsible for: Solution architectingDevelopment and supportTechnical documentationLiaising with Finance and Program Management teams on program deliverablesUnit Testing and UAT supportProduction Release deploymentSummaryThe Financial Data Warehouse Lead to drive and support our data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial data management, data engineering, and a passion for optimizing data processes. You will lead the development and maintenance of our financial data warehouse, ensuring that it supports analytical and reporting needs across the organizationResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and maintenance of the financial data warehouse using firm technologies (e.g. DataBricks, Snowflake).Collaborate with business to gather requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.Optimize ETL processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading.Bank experience is a plusImplement best practices for data governance, quality, and security within the data warehouse.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and workflows.Train and mentor team members on firm's database technologies and data warehousing best practices.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data technologies, particularly related to financial analytics.Required QualificationsSubject Matter Expertise in financial data processing10 years with IT Financial systems (ERP, data warehouses, reporting)10 years experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g. SQL Server, DataBricks) with integrations with external applications and platformsBachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or similar fieldPreferred Master's degreeProficiency in SQL and data modeling including ETL processesExperience in financial reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik)Additional Preferred QualificationsKnowledge and experience working with medium to large banking firmsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data storage solutionsExperience with APIs developed with programming languages (e.g. Java, Scala, Python)The expected base salary is approximately $200k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
