New York, New york city 00000 New york city USADescription We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Finance team within the Production Compensation team. Core responsibilities of the role include calculation, review, analytics, and forecasting of commission based compensation for sales team across institutional and intermediary business lines. The Production Compensation team works very closely with other members of Finance team including Payroll and Client Billing, as well as Human Capital, Business Support and Technology.
Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation processes
Review and distribute compensation statements to client coverage channels
Perform monthly compensation trend analysis for distribution to senior management
Perform root-cause analysis of payout variances to be explained to client coverage support, when applicable
Work closely with business partners, technology and HCM to ensure correct compensation payouts
Assist with ad-hoc management reporting or project-related requests and analysis
Participate in forecasting, reporting, general ledger entries/reconciliations and IT testing
Compile procedural documentation and create a source document for business rules and procedures
Requirements
Undergraduate degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of accounting, financial reporting & analysis business experience required
Prior commission based compensation experience required
Asset Management/Investment Advisory industry expertise preferred
Advanced technical skills; extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel (including building analytical models) and PowerPoint required
Knowledge of SAP a plus
