Vice President (AFS Structured Loan Syndicate) for BNP Paribas in New York, NY will function as an Asset Finance and Securitization (“AFS”) Structured Loan Syndicate to structure and execute loan and bond transactions in Project Finance and Infrastructure. Sell loan and bond transactions to investors, including banks and institutional investors. Perform execution of live transactions in a lead role or in a supporting role. Meet with and negotiate transaction terms with sponsors. Work closely with banks and investors to gather feedback on market sentiment or specific transactions. Write memos for Credit or Sales teams. Coordinate with Origination teams and Banking on various projects. Prepare and draft pitch materials for clients. Prepare marketing materials for clients or internal purposes. Identify opportunities in the primary or secondary market. Stay well-versed in and abreast of recent loan transactions and market conditions. Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in AFS Structured Loan Syndicate or similar occupation as a member of a Sales, Capital Markets, or Syndicate team within an international bank or financial services organization or, alternatively, a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics or a related field and one (1) year of experience in AFS Structured Loan Syndicate or similar occupation as a member of a Sales, Capital Markets, or Syndicate team within an international bank or financial services organization. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Expertise (DE) working with Project Finance and Project Finance concepts; DE executing structured loans; DE supporting credit market products, including bonds and loans; DE creating novel loan and bond structures to fit client needs and market conditions; and DE following credit market conditions to identify sources of risk and turning points. Salary range: $225,000.00 to $275,000.00/year. Position requires Up to 15% domestic travel, often on short notice. Remote work permitted up to 1 day per week.
