New York, New york city 00000 New york city USAAbout the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):14The Role: Program Management LeadGrade : 14The Team:S&P Enterprise Solutions is looking for a Program Management Lead to drive software development projects and program of work, operational change management and to develop organizational Agile maturity and transparency across the Business segments and product lines, to ensure the delivery of the product roadmap.This role is a great opportunity to make an impact on delivery practices in a fast-paced, financial service, software organization that is driven by innovation and an agile mindset. The Project team is currently growing and developing into a structured PMO across the Enterprise Solutions product verticals.The Impact:The Program Management Lead will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of multiple programs within the organization, with Program managers from different business segments reporting to them. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution to ensure that all program objectives are met on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project team is currently growing and developing into a structured PMO across the Enterprise Solutions Business segments of Lending Solutions, Private & Public Markets, Software and Reg & Compliance.Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans for program management that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Provide visionary leadership to program managers and project teams, ensuring a clear understanding of program goals and priorities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in program management.
Program Execution and Oversight:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Monitor program performance metrics, track progress, and provide regular status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Address and resolve any issues, risks, or conflicts that may arise during program execution.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for program initiatives.
Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to review program status, gather feedback, and address concerns.
Resource Management:
Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support program activities.
Ensure that program teams have the necessary tools, training, and support to achieve their objectives.
Optimize resource utilization and ensure efficient use of organizational assets.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor program expenditures and financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Identify and assess program risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain effective program governance and reporting mechanisms.
Team Development and Mentorship:
Lead, mentor, and develop program management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support career development initiatives.
Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Experience & Exposure required:
Accountability for the delivery of multiple complex financial services projects of varying size and length across multiple Business Segments.
Building high performing autonomous Agile/Scrum Teams.
Detailed understanding of SDLC/SaaS.
Working in a Technology/Software environment.
Use of ADO / Jira / Confluence / MS Project / Smartsheet.
Working in a Global Markets, with offshore / managed services.
Understanding of the Trade Lifecyle is a plus.
Accreditation: Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe, PMP.

Understand and apply different approaches to deal with diversity where appropriate (Lead, Manage, Support and Serve).
