New York, New york city 00000 New york city USADescription We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Facilities Assistant in the bustling city of New York. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our operations within the industry. The role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including coordination with vendors, visitor registration, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our workspace. Responsibilities: Oversee the coordination with vendors to ensure seamless operation of the facility. Manage the acceptance and organization of delivered packages. Act as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a warm welcome and accurate visitor registration. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring a conducive environment for all staff and visitors. Handle supply orders, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available. Report any facility-related issues promptly and follow through to resolution. Work closely with IT and Audio-Visual team to ensure all technical aspects of the facility are fully functional. Utilize MS Office and other relevant software for facility management and communication. Use skills in Computerized Maintenance Management, Concur, Kronos Timekeeping System, Management System, About Time, Budget Processes, Communication, Conference Rooms, and Customer Service to effectively perform duties. Requirements Proficiency in utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Knowledge of Concur and Kronos Timekeeping System Familiarity with the About Time management system Understanding of budget processes in a facilities management context Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience managing conference rooms, including scheduling and maintenance Strong customer service skills to interact with staff and external vendors Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently when required Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems as they are implemented Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
