GB is a sub line-of-business within JPMorgan's broader Commercial and Investment Bank.The RoleThe GIB Business Manager (BM) is a senior, influential role, reporting into the GB CFO and accountable to the co-heads of GIB. The GIB BM is a key member of the GIB Executive Committee and GB CFO leadership team. S/he will lead a global team of 100+, responsible for supporting the business end-to-end, including financial management, stakeholder coordination, strategic planning and execution, and driving operational excellence within the business. This role requires a deep understanding of investment banking product and industry coverage teams to effectively provide sound advice, analyses, and reporting to senior management.The GIB BM will partner closely with GB Planning & Analysis and Controllership teams to manage key financial activities for the business, including budgeting, forecasting, investment ROI, expense management, and business reviews. S/he serves as a key liaison for functional teams including Compliance, Controls, HR, Legal, Operations, Product, Risk, Strategy and Technology. S/he will collaborate closely with partner teams to implement strategic initiatives within the business spanning revenue growth, market share, client and employee experience, and operational efficiency.Success in this role requires end-to-end leadership skills, Finance and Business Management expertise, and strong collaboration and influencing skills.Job Responsibilities

Serve as trusted advisor to GIB Co-Heads and GIB Executive Committee

Orchestrate GIB financial activities including planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, investment ROI, expense management and business reviews

Analyze and interpret financial performance to identify opportunities

Drive implementation of strategic initiatives

Lead and develop the GIB BM team and talent base, with a focus on improving diversity and future-proofing skills

Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including GIB Executive Committee, F&BM executives and firmwide partners

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Experience as a senior Business Manager, CFO, COO or similarly relevant role with 15+ years of work experience (5+ years at Managing Director or equivalent level)

Financial services industry experience specifically within Investment Banking

In-depth knowledge of Financial, Accounting, corporate financial law and risk management practices

Strong EQ, and proven experience building, leading and mentoring global, diverse teams

Experience managing large scale projects and interacting with people across all levels of the organization

Able to prioritize and multitask well under pressure

Able to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely

Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and executive-level communication skills

Excellent judgment, conflict resolution skills and interpersonal skills

Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership traits

Comfortable with ambiguity, adapts to change and navigates large organizations with confidence

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

MBA, CFA or advanced Finance/Accounting degree preferable
