Find your place in risk and analytics on #TeamAmex.This position will be a key member of the American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) Small Business Services (SBS) & Business Blueprint (BBP) Business Operations team responsible for risk and control framework.Responsibilities:

Develop, communicate, and execute the Monitoring & Testing roadmap.

Develop and maintain an understanding of critical business processes.

Conduct product and process risk & control assessments.

Enhance / strengthen the internal control environment.

Facilitate audits, reviews and exams, and drive resulting action plans to closure.

Analyze known issues and complaint trends to identify control enhancements and monitoring & testing needs.

Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to translate unstructured information to a structured, actionable plan.

Demonstrated ability to influence business partners to improve control environment without direct authority.

Strong collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g., Product Owners, LOBCO, GCO, Control Management, etc.).

Track record analyzing complex data and processes to find and drive innovative solutions.

Ability to effectively prioritize and drive strong results with limited resources.

Adaptable to changing business priorities.

Aware of the latest trends and industry best practices in risk/compliance space.

Minimum Qualifications:

3 years of relevant experience (audit, operational excellence, compliance, etc.

Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills

Ability to translate analyses into actionable customer and operations insights and recommendations

Highly organized

Manage cross-functional initiatives

Develop and maintain relationships across organizational boundaries

Influence without direct authority

Communicate effectively at all levels of organization

Drive results

Knowledge of Amex processes and or products.

QualificationsSalary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
