DescriptionThe Americas Deliver Service Partner (DSP) team partners with entrepreneurial individuals who manage their own delivery businesses (DSPs) across the US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico. Together, we build sustainable and scalable delivery capacity so that Amazon can continue to delight customers with fast, efficient, and bar raising fulfillment of their orders. The Americas DSP’s North Star goal is to improve DSP Quality. Quality partners operate safely and reliably, meet performance standards, take a long-term view of their business relationship with Amazon as they engage with the program, adhere to program policies, and manage healthy businesses.The Sr. PM, DSP Acquisition is responsible for developing, testing, and deploying tactics to continue to attract and develop the right internal and external leads to apply to become new DSP owners in Mexico and Brazil. Their main objective is to find DSP candidates who will quickly ramp up their businesses to consistently perform above the Quality bar, when and where we need them in an effective and efficient way.Working backwards from Amazon’s capacity needs, the Sr. PM, DSP Latam Acquisition helps define the strategy for delivering those Quality leads in Mexico and Brazil in the locations where they are needed, when they are needed, and with high confidence that they will become quality DSPs.This involves partnering with the local Mexico and Brazil team and with the DSP Acquisition team to determine current state, gaps to bring all programs to parity in terms of processes and expectations, while developing customizations to make the process relevant to local context and regulations.The Sr. PM, DSP Acquisition understands the negative implications of launching the wrong DSP owner and therefore obsesses over bringing owner leads who will raise the bar. To that end, they manage a bulletproof process and constantly aim to improve it. They drive to automate every step that can be automated and, where they rely on others taking action, they create mechanisms to ensure consistent delivery with the highest standards and they audit frequently. They experiment and test new tactics to continuously improve the team effectiveness and efficiency.This is not an operations role.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Sr. PM, DSP Latam, you will work with the local Mexico and Brazil team and the DSP Acquisition team to support DSP Acquisition in Latam. Your ultimate goals are: i) Providing the business with the quality DSP leads it needs, exactly when and where it needs them in spite of ever-changing forecasts. ii) Increasingly target leads who will raise the bar, performing better than 50% of the existing network. To achieve these, your key responsibilities will be: Define and implement bulletproof selection and vetting processes at parity with North America Acquisition processes to eliminate mistakes and ensure high-quality outputs Lead the planning and implementation of local marketing campaigns to acquire DSP owner quality leads. Test and learn. Test and implement programs available in North America in Latam (e.g. Road to ownership, Pinnacle, contract transfers, sub-same day delivery, etc.) Design the mechanisms to meet long-term business goals. Trust but verify. Create mechanisms that ensure every party involved executes your plan in alignment with the highest standards. Influence others, drive change with internal and external organizations to unblock the DSP Acquisition team so they can deliver for our customers, specifically focusing in LatamAbout the teamAt Amazon Logistics (AMZL), our goal is to provide customers with an incredible package delivery experience through the last mile of the order. To achieve this goal, we partner with a network of small independent delivery businesses (Delivery Service Providers) and the independent contractor community (Amazon Flex) to deliver customer orders. Utilizing continuous improvement initiatives and creative thinking, our Delivery Station teams ensure that millions of packages reach their final destination as efficiently as possible.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, private equity, product marketing, business development, or product management in ecommerce or technology businesses.
Communication skills - Proven ability to write data-driven, well-structured (MECE) documents that influence key decisionmakers.
Ability to drive executive-level meetings with concise arguments grounded on preparation tactics.
Experience working in Latam, Spain, or Portugal (ideally Brazil and/or Mexico).
Fluent in speaking Spanish and/or Portuguese
Proven analytical skills - Ability to analyze and understand complex sets of data, extract insights, draw the right conclusions and communicate them in a way that brings others along.
Proven experience as a people manager, hiring and developing the best.
Experience in working in corporate environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
Bachelor’s degree in Science (Engineering or Marketing preferred).
Creative, yet analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure campaign effectiveness
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation
Adept at working in a cross-functional organization
Comfortable in a hyper-growth, fast-paced, and self-starter environment
Demonstrated ability to interpret data and analytics to draw insights, make data-driven decisions, and optimize performance
Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or other analytics platforms
Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese

The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
